The ANT Collection represents the work of a select group of committed natural history and environmental photographers from around the world who submit their best work to us. We tightly edit their submission taking just those images that we believe are marketable and will enhance the collection.

We do not buy images outright except in very exceptional circumstances and purely at our discretion. We never sell the copyright of an image we only license the rights to use an image.

Our responsibility to you.
Our responsibility to you is to make your work visible to as many of the worlds image buyers as possible. We believe that this website is the best tool to do this. It is our policy not to have many active photographers covering the same subjects for our Library.

Your responsibility to us.
All we ask from you is be an active photography. That is a photographer that works with us, sends in regular submissions and continues to develop their photographic techniques.

Our business relationship
We have a standard agreement with all our photographers. Both parties sign this agreement that lays out the nature of our business relationship. The agreement is designed to protect the rights and sets out the responsibilities of both parties. The agreement specifies that you have asked us to market the rights to your images worldwide.

Pricing Policy
Our pricing policy, based on our constantly evolving experience, is to find a careful balance between the expectations of a particular client and maximizing the return to you. We work hard with our clients to increase the perceived value of your work. It is always disappointing to find competitors, both large Photo Libraries and individual photographers, under charging for their work and consequently driving down value of their work.

Wants list.
We are particularly looking for images of the following broad range of subjects.

• Wildlife from Australia and Asia in particular, and from around the world, showing different behaviors.
• Environmental issues pertinent to Australia.
• Natural disasters.
• Primary industries
• Concept shots illustrating Nature.
• Energy, both mainstream and alternative technologies
• Geographic features

New Photographers.
We welcome submission from Professional Photographers and committed Amateurs. Although we welcome one off submissions of specialist subjects, we are particularly looking for photographers that can send us a regular supply of interesting images of varying subjects.

Making your initial submission.
If you are interested in becoming a contributor to The ANT Collection; please read our Submissions Guidelines. register on the site if you have not already done so, and then send us an email. In the email please indicating what subjects you photograph and you expertise in them, your level of photographic technical excellence and either attach 10 low res (500 pixels along the longest edge at 72dpi) images or a link to a website so we can view your work that you believe is most relevant to us.

Once we have received your application we will be touch and probably request that you send us an initial batch of 50+ digital files to our specifications for our evaluation. Read our Submissions Guidelines.
