ANT Photo Library Wants List

Wildlife

Good clean species shots preferably in the appropriate environment and especially behavioural shots of animals with a detailed explanation of what is happening please. See the Wants list below

Environmental issues pertinent to Australia

  • Pollution of the air, land and sea
  • Erosion
  • Salination
  • Land degradation
  • Water usage and other related issues
  • Natural disasters and other meteorological events

Issues relating to the indigenous people of this land. Particularly their tradition way of life, food, hunting and gathering, food preparation, bush tucker etc. We also need images of their artefacts, particularly iconic items such as boomerangs.

Primary industries

  • Mining
  • Transport
  • Farming
  • Energy, both mainstream and alternative technologies

Concept shots illustrating Nature

  • Growth
  • The Seasons
  • Habitats
  • Geographic features. We particularly want great Rainforest shots.

The Wants List
When we are asked for a particular subject that we have little or no stock of, or the stock we have needs to be updated and supplemented we add it to this list below.

If you are a new photographer to ANT you may wish to use this list to note particular subjects that you could photograph. Before submitting images to us please read our New Contributors and Submission Guidelines section.

You will find most of the iconic species from Australia. These are on the list for two reasons, firstly they sell well and we need to renew our stock on a regular basis, secondly, each photographer thinks that everyone else will photograph them, so they don’t!
